YOUR TASKS:

Act as the ultimate owner of end-user and infrastructure IT equipment throughout its lifecycle, from

  • planning (supporting the budget process),
  • procurement,
  • installation (automated and manual OS, software installation, collaboration with Infrastructure, Maintenance)
  • support (collaboration with IT Service Desk and users),
  • tracking (inventory process, reporting), to
  • decommissioning.
  • Oversee maintenance and troubleshooting of end user workstation hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
  • Administer all IT equipment, hardware and software upgrades on location Novi Sad in the office environment.
  • Work in sync with Maintenance and machine manufacturers to support computer hardware, software and network upgrades on location Novi Sad in the production environment.
  • Work in alignment with machine manufacturers and other support companies to enable and monitor their remote and physical access.
  • Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specification information.
  • Administer and maintain end user accounts, permissions, and access rights, together with IT Service Desk.
  • Recommend, schedule, and perform PC improvements, upgrades, and repairs.
  • Oversee and help improve the tickets for Novi Sad users by delivering those assigned to yourself, encouraging users to use the ticketing system, and periodically check tickets of Novi Sad users, assigned to others, that they are resolved in a timely fashion.
  • Act as a liaison with Maintenance and Manufacturing Technology teams so that their needs for IT Services are delivered by Global and local IT resources.
  • Execute procurement of equipment through SAP.
  • Execute training for new employees and refresher for old ones.
  • Document and implement procedures in asset management and other areas.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proactively search for ways to enhance and deliver existing solutions for business needs.
  • Providing direct support to IT Department teams. Performing IT Service Desk activities as proxy, if needed.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform all other duties as required.

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Working technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including Windows client and server operating systems.
  • Solid written and oral communication skills in English (German and/or Chinese is a plus, but not necessary).
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to conduct research into end-user computing and networking issues and products as required.
  • Work globally, understanding and embracing multiple cultures.
  • Self-disciplined, self-motivated and directed.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities including task prioritization.
  • Experience in working with ticketing systems in a formalized IT Service Support environment.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Certifications in A+, MCP and MCTS are a plus.
  • Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience.
  • Application support experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
