BMTS Technology GmbH & Co. KG has pledged to strictly comply with all national and international laws and regulations in order to preserve the right to informational self-determination. When collecting, storing and processing personal information, we observe European regulations on data privacy (Art. 12 GDPR) and all relevant EU member states laws derived from these regulations (e.g. BDSG, TMG) as well as other respective national laws. 

PROCESSING AND USING PERSONAL DATA

Your visit to our webpages is logged. The actual IP address, date and time used by your PC, the browser type and the operating system of your PC as well as the pages you are viewing are essentially recorded. If the visit is a result of online advertising such as banners, video ads, search engine advertising, etc., we also record which banner, adword, etc. motivated the visit of our website. The insights gained enable us to further optimize our websites and tailor them even better to our visitors‘ needs. A personal reference is usually not possible for us and also not intended. This data is only collected for purposes of data security and for the optimization of our website. Any other evaluation of the data, except for statistical purposes and then in principle in anonymous form, does not take place. Also no personal surfing profiles or similar are created or processed. Personal data is only stored when voluntarily given by you for a determined purpose e.g. in context of a registration, a survey, a contest or in performance of a contract. Personal data that has been communicated to us through our website will only be stored until the purpose for which you have been entrusted to us is fulfilled. As far as commercial and tax-law retention periods are to be observed, the storage period may be up to 10 years for certain data.

Personal data that you provide to us via a website or via e-mail (e.g. your name and address or e-mail address) will only be processed for correspondence with you and only for the purpose for which you provided us with the data. The information collected on this website is forwarded to the responsible unit within our group of companies. We assure you that we will not pass on your personal data to third parties, unless we are legally obligated to do this or you have given us your prior consent. In addition, the use of your e-mail address, your telephone and/or mobile phone number and your fax numbers for the purpose of advertising or market or opinion research requires a separate consent. You can give this consent electronically when entering your data and revoke it at any time for the future.

WE GUARANTEE THE CONFIDENTIALITY AND SECURITY OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA BY:

  • We use your personal data, insofar as you communicate it to us through our website or in the context of e-mail communication, only to fulfil your wish or request,
  • Our employees have to maintain confidentiality obligations,
  • Our security measures adequately conform to the current state of the art,
  • Our systems are regularly checked for safety, so that we can protect against possible damage, loss and access to data held by us on a sustained basis,
  • And for the observance of the “Privacy Statement” the company data protection officer ensures.

COOKIES

In some areas of our website, we use so-called “cookies” to make our website pages easier to use and adapt them according to your needs. A “cookie” is a small text file stored on your hard disk.
The cookies of our Internet pages do not collect any personal data about you, but only the IP address of your requesting computer and your Internet service provider, the date, duration and time of the access as well as the name of the retrieved file and the Data volume. However, it is also possible to use our offers without cookies. Most browsers are set to accept cookies automatically. Some of our websites incorporate content and services from other providers who, in turn, may use cookies and active components. We occasionally refer to third party websites. Although we carefully choose these third parties, we cannot assume any responsibility for the accuracy or completeness of the content and the data security of third party websites. Also this privacy policy does not apply to linked websites of third parties. We conduct our business in such a way that our obligations are fulfilled in all the countries in which we are represented.

REVOKING CONSENT

If you no longer agree with the storage of your personal data or have become inaccurate, we will arrange for a corresponding instruction to delete or block your data or make the necessary corrections. Upon request, you will receive free information about all personal data that we have stored about you. Data which is necessary for billing and accounting purposes or which is subject to the legal obligation to preserve is not affected.
