Project Buyer

YOUR TASKS:
- Purchasing responsibility for Turbocharger projects
- Independent purchase and price negotiations for components and tools
- Component responsibility with regard to quality, cost and delivery targets
- Contract negotiation with suppliers
- Planning, checking and tracking of component and tooling costs
- Responsibility for supplier selection and awarding decisions
- Optimization and implementation of the global procurement strategy
- Procurement/Tracking of samples according to project timing
- Collaboration in interdisciplinary project teams
YOUR PROFILE:
- Completed apprenticeship or study (Bachelor/Master degree) with technical background; alternatively commercial focus
- Min. 2 years’ experience, automotive and/or global experience an advantage
- Professional experience in project purchasing, technical purchasing or in manufacturing technology
- Commodity know-how for the relevant product groups in project purchasing
- Experience in the automotive industry advantageous
- Technical understanding
- Strong communication skills and negotiating skills in English (German advantageous)
- Focus on results, hands-on mentality
