GM’s Chevy Trailblazer has been named as one of Wards 10 Best Engines & Propulsion Systems in 2021. According to Wards Intelligence, the 1.3 liter engine, equipped with a BMTS turbocharger, surprised by “a combination of technology, tidy sizing and torquey response”. The powerful 3-cylinder engine generates 155 hp (236 Nm) of torque, which equals an impressive power density of 116 hp per liter.
