BMTS invites customers and the US press to the M1 Concourse in Pontiac, Michigan

BMTS Technology, a global manufacturer of exhaust gas turbochargers, hosted an event for automotive media and customers at the M1 Concourse in Pontiac, Michigan (USA). At this event, BMTS displayed a broad range of their turbocharger products and introduced current and future concepts, as well as solutions in turbocharging technology. On the test drive the event attendees personally experienced the power of BMTS turbochargers through a “Ride and Drive” on closed loop and timed autocross courses. Three drivers who recorded the fastest times on the autocross track were awarded a special “Thrill Ride” in a Dodge Charger Hellcat, driven by a professional M1 driver. The vehicles with BMTS turbochargers included a 2019 Bentley Bentayga W12 (6.0L), a 2018 BMW 540i (3.0L), a 2017 Chevy Malibu (1.5L), and a 2019 Volkswagen Jetta (1.4L).

In addition, Dr. Nisar Al-Hasan (CTO of BMTS Technology), Neal Karwande (Global Director of Sales & Program Management – US location) and Brian Vivio (Director of Sales, Application and Engineering Center – US location) gave presentations introducing participants to the company, turbocharger technologies, and its impact on current and future trends in the automotive industry.
