BMTS Technology opens new manufacturing plant in Novi Sad, Serbia

The Federal Republic of Germany is one of the largest foreign investors in Serbia. Ideal government conditions, low production costs, a good infrastructure, and a high availability of qualified workers make the country very attractive for German companies. Serbia is also an important location for BMTS Technology and the company’s global growth strategy, with high investment potential. In Serbia’s second largest city, Novi Sad, about 46 miles from Belgrade, BMTS Technology will begin the construction of a new 10,000m² manufacturing plant in June 2019. The state-of-the-art plant will start production in summer 2020 and will have a capacity of around 2 million exhaust gas turbochargers. The new plant in Serbia will be integrated into the BMTS European plant network.
