BMTS Technology presents cutting-edge turbocharger concepts at the Shanghai Motor Show 2019

Every two years, one of China’s largest automobile exhibitions takes place in Shanghai: the Shanghai Motor Show. In addition to the participation of Asian companies, European and American automobile manufacturers and suppliers also use the fair to give an outlook on upcoming models and new technologies. This year’s event, which took place from 16th to 25th of April 2019 at the New International Expo and Convention Center, once again attracted more than 1 million visitors to Shanghai. BMTS Technology was also represented among the approximately 1,000 exhibitors this year. On its two-floors exhibition booth, which was specially designed for the Shanghai Motor Show, BMTS presented various exhibits from renowned automobile manufacturers, new cutting-edge concepts and a range of cast products from the BMTS Shandong plant. During a press conference, Dr. Nisar Al-Hasan, Director Growth and Strategy, presented additionally the success story of BMTS Technology and the latest turbocharger technologies developed by BMTS: These include the variable turbine FNT (Floating Nozzle Turbine), the variable compressor CMX (Compressor Map Extension), the 3D bearing and the Electric Assisted Turbcharger.
The Shanghai Motor Show 2019 was a complete success for BMTS Technology, thanks to the excellent cooperation across locations and the perfect organization on site.
